This sweet little fox has taken a nap in a bed of flowers.
This fox brooch is made from a light weight plastic using my original hand drawn illustrations of the fox and all the flowers, which I have scanned and then printed onto the plastic.
The plastic its very durable, but to be on the safe side should be taken care of with love as you do with all jewelry.
The Brooch is about 42 mm long at its widest part.
42 mm (1.65 inch)
Weather you love vintage, traditional or obscure, Etsy is great resource to find that perfect peice for your home. Anything from pillows to actual furniture can be found. I love looking at the furniture, I am a huge fan of the obsure and weird, although not many people know that about me. Some of these are spendy but pretty to look at! As usual when I am at lunch at my day job, I pop over to Etsy to not only look at my shop but study the treasury that has made it to the front. I try to assertain what the curators plan was while they put that particular treasury together. Today, unlike any other day, a beautiful treasury sits before me, however I actually recognize the curators name Marieken Hoefnagel. Who could forget a beautiful name like Marieken! She’s the owner of invisiblecrown on Etsy and her blog is here. Check out her beautiful shop and wonderful blog! Click here to see the treasury!
Here are a few of the items she has in that treasury that I adore!
One of the reasons I wanted a Cricut, is to be able to produce banners for birthdays, weddings, retirements etc. This banner turned out really well and didn’t take very long to complete! You can find it here in my shop.
After a lot of research I decided (well my husband got me for Christmas rather) a Cricut Expression 2. I have had a few bumps but after running the sync software and updating the system then doing a factory reset I think it is good to go! I am pretty excited about this machine as it will open up so many more possibilities in my shop like paper banners for parties and such!
I have learned so much in the past year. Not just about Etsy or how online selling works but also about myself. I am actually amazed how much time I really do put into Vandicrafts. I seem to have this endless supply of energy to make beads and cards, set up treasuries, read forums, blog and read other blogs. It comes down to one simple factor, I simply love what I do! It’s not a “job” or a “chore”, it’s a pleasure to do all this.
My goal has been since I started Vandicrafts to one day make this my full-time source of income and I strive for that goal every day. The last few months have been picking up nicely with October being my best-selling month to date! My goals for remainder of 2013 and 2014 are to advertise more! A great product can’t be discovered if its hiding from the world.
A heartfelt ‘Thank You’ to all my current and future customers as I know you have a choice and I am over joyed you chose me! ~ Melissa Vandridge
